The Evolution Is Here, Meet 5G Technology
The desire of larger and better is present in the media fraternity too. The battle to think of the most recent technology and higher rates is accepting communication to a different level. Using technologies for entertainment purposes can’t be dismissed. Smartphones came with a great deal of abilities and have translated into a significant industry. Gambling isn’t merely restricted to consoles or PCs but cellular games will be the new standard.
A brief record of the mobile netThe foundation of cellular communication is old than you can know. The rates that you like and also the clarity you understand took years to grow. We have assembled the bits to allow you on this trip. It took 20 years to receive 20 million readers around the globe. The term”mobile phone” comes in this age. 1G analogue has been the market standard and”mobile” was the expression used to refer to this technology. Honeycomb cells utilized the exact same frequency radio waves to guarantee much better system connectivity.
GSM is an integral innovation of the moment. This age saw cellular business going through a range of changes. The services were restricted, however. Only telephone calls were potential using towers which could swap data packets.
GSM and 2G directed the way to fast invention. This was only the first step. Progress was made as well as also the exact same technology afterward helped in making up services such as voicemail and fundamental internet connectivity. Devices using information were shot as minicomputers. This is the stepping stone for modern day tablets. This was the very first mobile web services. WAP-enabled telephones were available around 2000.
International Telecommunication Union accepted 3G about 2003. This creation of connectivity has been a jump forward. It arrived with increased bandwidth and greater rates. These attributes were the actual stepping stone to the wise devices we have now.
These high rates were more appropriate for smartphones. This made sure that users like broadband fitting rates. Greater bandwidth meant an update from voice calls for video calls. Along with all this, 3G assisted in creating complex GPS systems.

4GStruggling to meet standard requirements have been the motive from the postponed launching of 4G. Data transmission rates and security were the principal concerns. Engineers and specialists word difficult to think of Web Protocol to transmit information. After much attempts, 4G was eventually launched around 2008. This supposed Improved voice quality over telephone calls. This might be remarkable but the hard work results in two technologies: LTE and WiMAX.
5GThe development must direct us to 5G and this is everything you Want to know about it:
What to expectThere’s not an established standard for 5G as yet but there’s a lot of expectations from it. According to rumors, quick connectivity rates are essential. Technologies such as IoT (Internet of accessibility ) can also become readily accessible. Fantastic right? Enormous files downloaded in a couple of minutes.
TechnicalitiesAlpha system employs a method of cells. The cells websites have split the land into smaller businesses and shipping info. The information transmission is carried out by using radio waves. The mobile site has to be linked to a community backbone.
1. Encoding
5G networks will need to be far smarter than their predecessors. They’ll be balancing considerably smaller cells which are going to have the ability to change sizes and shape. 5G should likewise be in a position to ramp up capability simply by upgrading antenna technologies.
2. Frequency
5G utilizes two sorts of airwaves: under and above 6GHz. Low-frequency 5G networks utilize Wi-Fi and networks circles that currently exist. It utilizes flexible programming and larger channel dimensions to attain better rates than LTE.
The actual game changer is that the 5g that utilizes higher frequencies. This also called the millimeter wave. The frequencies now used have a great deal of load. Greater frequencies, on the other hand, a broader open spectrum and give a larger channel for very substantial rates. These rings are utilized at the trunk ends and weren’t readily available for industrial usage.
ProgressProgress Meaning? These cities will be prepared for 5G. This isn’t the end and ancient 2023 should observe a growth to this listing.
While cellular networks have ready for network updates, cellular phone companies have yet to come at level. There are rumors which OnePlus aims at launching a 5G telephone in 2023.
Is Your Apple Tv Stuck On Apple Logo? Here Is The Fix
Having used “Apple TV” for long, I can say that it’s up to the task on all fronts. However, it’s not perfect and can get plagued with issues just like any other man-made device. The other day, my Apple TV won’t show video or play sound. I tried a few solutions and one of them luckily worked for me.
I thought it would be worth sharing my experience and the tricks that got rid of the problem. One thing worth noting is that the following solutions can also be helpful in fixing other problems like Apple TV stuck on Apple logo or unresponsiveness of the TV.
Apple TV Stuck on Apple Logo, Doesn’t Show Video or Play Sound? Give These Solutions A Try Solution #1: Check the Power CordFirst and foremost, ensure that your Apple TV is plugged into power and status light is on. Just in the status light doesn’t appear, use the remote to wake up the TV.
If that doesn’t work, unplug the power cord from your Apple TV, and then wait for 30 seconds. And then, plug the power cord back in. If the problem still continues, try using different power outlet.
Solution #2: Check out If HDMI Cable is Working ProperlyIn case the status light is on but you don’t hear sound or see video, check out the HDMI cable. Unplug it and then securely plug it into your Apple TV.

Here Is Your 2023 Iphone Lineup
Every year Apple refreshes its iPhone lineup, adding a few new handsets to the mix while also rearranging older models. This is the company’s way to refresh the whole mix, while offering a change to price points for aging handsets.
This year is no different. So we’ve gone ahead and put together a nice snapshot of what your 2023 iPhone lineup looks like, starting with the oldest models available to the newest of the new. This year there are only four different variants to choose from, but with some models you’ve got two display sizes to choose from.
So let’s get into it.
iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 PlusApple is keeping the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus around one more year. But the good news here is that the aging handsets are now cheaper than ever before, as Apple dropped the starting price for the iPhone 8 down to $449 and the iPhone 8 Plus down to $549.
Apple is really pushing trade-ins and monthly payments, but for the price breakdown we’re going to just work with no trade-in. That will be the same going forward for all models.
64GB iPhone 8: $449 or $18.70 per month
128GB iPhone 8: $499 or $20.79 per month
64GB iPhone 8 Plus: $549 or $22.87 per month
128GB iPhone 8 Plus: $599 or $24.95 per month
Each of the models are also available unlocked and SIM-free.
Moving right along to…
iPhone XRThat’s right, Apple’s super colorful iPhone XR is sticking around, too. The handset saw a price drop of its own, which could make it the best possible iPhone for the general public. Let’s go ahead and take a look at what you’ll need to fork over to make a new iPhone XR yours.
64GB iPhone XR: $599 or $24.95 per month
128GB iPhone XR: $649 or $27.04 per month
SIM-free and unlocked models are also available.
iPhone 11The sidekick of the latest big event from Apple, the iPhone 11 is the replacement for the iPhone XR. As a result, the handset blends high-end specs that you’ll find on the more expensive iPhone 11 Pro, while also making some key changes to keep the price lower than that more expensive option.
Here’s what it will cost to get the iPhone 11, which goes up for pre-order on September 13 and goes on sale September 20.
64GB iPhone 11: $699 or $29.12 per month
128GB iPhone 11: $749 or $31.20 per month

Nothing Phone (2) Is Here With High
After a rather interesting stream of leaks and official teasers, Nothing has finally launched its high-awaited second smartphone, the Phone (2) in India and global markets. As one might expect, the device brings along the attractive Glyph Interface on a semi-transparent chassis and specs that scream premium to take on rivals like OnePlus, Oppo, and Samsung to name a few. Check out more details about the phone below.
Nothing Phone (2): Design and DisplayPast rumors followed by an official revelation have already told us about the semi-transparent “Nothing” design (to show the internals of the phone), which is also seen with last year’s Phone (1). It comes in a new dark gray color, along with the white option.
The Glyph Interface, which is an amalgamation of multiple LED lights retains but this time, there’s some difference. Instead of one strip running around the camera hump and the wireless charging coil, it has been broken up. Plus, there’s a new red alert strip on the right side. The Glyph Interface makes notifications fun as whenever there’s an app/call notification, the light will glow. And if you want an important app to stay on top of the notifying game, the assigned LED will always be lit. It will also light up for battery status, timer, to track Uber/Zomato (much like Live Activities on iOS only cooler) and more third-party apps, among other things. There’s the Glyph Composer for personalized light and sound combinations. This is in collab with the Swedish House Mafia.
The front has a bigger 6.7-inch flexible OLED display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate (thanks to the LTPO technology) and a center-placed punch-hole instead of a corner one. It has 1600 nits of peak brightness, HDR10+ support, 10-bit colors, and a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass.
Nothing OS 2.0Widgets can now be created via Quick Settings and can be customized too. The Phone (2) will get getting three years of major software updates and 4 years of security ones, which is a decent deal.
Nothing Phone (2): CamerasNothing doesn’t focus on the number of cameras and has again, decided to go for a duo at the back. There’s a 50MP main snapper with a Sony IMX890 sensor (also seen on the OnePlus 11) and OIS/EIS support. The secondary camera is a 50MP ultra-wide lens with the Samsugn JN1 sensor and EIS support. The front shooter stands at 32MP, upgraded from the Phone (1)’s 16MP one.
Nothing Phone (2): SpecsThere’s a bigger 4,700mAh battery, which supports faster 45W charging (the Phone (1) has a 4,500mAh battery with 33W fast charging). The phone also gets 15W wireless charging and 5W reverse wireless charging support.
Additional aspects include an in-display fingerprint scanner, Face Unlock, dual stereo speakers, 5G support, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, a USB Type-C port, dual SIM slots, and an IP54 rating for water and dust resistance.
Price and AvailabilityThe Nothing Phone (2) comes with a price tag of Rs 44,999 (8GB+128GB) in dark gray, Rs 49,999 (12GB+256GB), and Rs 54,999 (12GB+512GB). This is slightly pricey if we compare the phone with the iQOO Neo 7 Pro, which starts at Rs 32,999 and has the same chipset. However, if this is the kind of money you would like to spend, the design and the Glyph Interface make it a compelling case. It is up for pre-order until July 20 and will be a part of the open sale, starting July 21 via Flipkart and select retail stores.
As for the offers, you can get an instant discount of Rs 3,000 on Axis and HDFC cards, the Phone (2) Case at Rs 499 (originally at Rs 1,299), a screen protector at Rs 399 (originally at Rs 999), the power (45W) adaptor at Rs 1,499 (originally at Rs 2,499), the Ear (stick) at Rs 4,250, and the Ear (2) at Rs 8,999.
Here Is Why Sodium Ions Are The Future Of Electric Cars Battery
There is a need for major breakthrough in lithium-ion technology. Otherwise, we will need an alternative material to drive the world’s transition to electric cars. Fortunately for us, sodium appears to be a viable candidate. It is abundant, inexpensive, and more environmentally friendly. This solution also has similar chemical properties to lithium. But as good as this sounds, is sodium actually good for batteries? If so, why hasn’t anyone started mass production yet?
How good is sodium for an electric car battery? In short, some scientists believe that sodium will eventually be able to replace lithium. This is because the chemical composition of sodium is almost similar to that of lithium. Therefore, the technology for the battery-making process is practically the same. In a lithium-ion battery, lithium resides in the battery’s cathode and electrolyte, while the anode is made of graphite. Similarly, sodium-ion batteries use sodium in both the cathode and electrolyte. However, it swaps the graphite in the anode for some form of “hard carbon.”
Hard carbon, which is charcoal, is also of more benefit than graphite due. This is because of its light and hard nature. Hard carbon is also compatible with a wider range of electrolytes. This makes sodium-ion batteries potentially capable of a wider range of safe operating temperatures.
Does sodium have any weakness? While the charge speed is impressive, the energy density is one of sodium’s weakness. One of the reasons sodium has been largely ignored as a lithium alternative is that it is heavy. The energy density of a sodium-ion battery will be lower than that of a lithium-ion battery. This is due to the high weight of sodium. CATL’s sodium-ion prototype has a density of 160 Wh/kg. In contrast, Tesla’s upcoming 4680 lithium battery has a density of 272-296 Wh/kg.
But before anyone gets discouraged, it is worth mentioning that some companies are working on sodium weight. Faradion, estimates that it will be able to get a sodium-ion battery in excess of 200 Wh/kg. Faradion is a UK-based battery company. While its estimate will not be the best, it will be on par with many batteries in electric cars. The density of the battery in most electric cars is around 185 Wh/kg.
Thus, there are a lot of positives from a sodium-ion battery. Some of the positives are
Gizchina News of the weekJoin GizChina on Telegram
Cheaper
Easier to produce
Environmentally friendly
Very stable at extreme temperatures
Have the potential to match the energy density of a lithium-ion battery
Faster charge
As of now, the only known con of a sodium battery is its weight.
How sodium-ion technology is changing the face of electric carsHow much can sodium really impact the electric car market? The most revolutionary thing is its sustainability. Faradion also estimates that a sodium-ion battery has the potential to be 24-32% cheaper than a lithium-ion battery. That’s not hard to believe. This is because lithium itself typically accounts for 30-40% of the total cost of a battery.
If a typical $50,000 electric vehicle is to use a sodium-ion battery, the price would drop to at least $45,200. This is about a 9.6% price cut. A 10% price cut won’t bring cheap (lower than $25,000) electric care overnight. Nevertheless, it is definitely a step in the right direction.
Another criterion for sustainability is how durable the sodium battery ends up. Sodium-ion batteries have been criticized for poor durability. This is often due to the fact that the ions in the battery tend to damage their internal crystal structure. However, thanks to a breakthrough at the US Department of Energy’s Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL). The damage is now avoidable due to the new technology.
The PNNL concept tackles the durability problem of sodium ions. It does this by tuning the chemical reactions that form the battery electrolyte. PNNL’s battery retains more than 90 per cent of its capacity for more than 300 charge cycles. Yes, this is a vague range of values. However, depending on how much range the battery provides, you can expect 10% degradation over the course of 75,000-90,000 miles. This is obviously worse than what the current lithium-ion battery technology offers. But, keep in mind that to replace a sodium-ion battery is much less of a financial burden.
How recyclable is a sodium battery? In terms of recyclability, a sodium-ion battery can fully discharge to 0 volts. Thus, it is better than a lithium battery. A lithium-ion battery retains about 30 per cent of its charge. This makes them most likely dangerous for recycling. So, a sodium-ion battery is safer to recycle. In addition, they lack raw materials like cobalt or graphite. This makes a sodium-ion battery-less harmful to the environment.
