Step #1. Open any app which content you want to move to another app. In this test, I’m going to open Photos app.

Press the Home button to quickly go to the Home screen

I’m going to use all these three options separately to move contents.
#1. Press the Home button using your other finger while still holding on the image. Next, locate the app in which you want to drop the content. You can also pull down from the top of the screen to bring up Spotlight using your other finger to access the recently used apps. Besides, swipe up from the bottom to access the Dock. Next up, you need to hover over to the app → Respective folder (or particular conversation if you are using Messages) and drop the file.
Note: The moment you begin to head into the app, a “+” sign will appear at the top of the content.
#2. Assuming you are holding onto the content you want to move, double press on the Home button. Next, App Switcher will open → head into the app in question and drop the content to the desired folder/place.
#3. When holding on the content, swipe up from the bottom of the screen to bring up Dock → now hover over into the app and then drop the content.

Google’s John Mueller responded to a Reddit SEO discussion where a search console warning about mobile usability was soon after followed by a rankings drop in a medical related website.
The timing of the drop in rankings happening soon after search console issued a warning about mobile usability issues made the two events appear to be related.
The person despaired because they fixed the problem, validated the fix through Google search console but the rankings changes haven’t reversed.
These are the salient details:
“Around Aug. 2023, I noticed that Google Search Console was saying ALL of our pages were now failing Mobile Usability standards. I had a developer “fix” the pages…
…I resubmitted the sitemap & asked Google to “Validate” all of my fixes on Oct. 25, 2023. It has been 15 days with no movement.”Understanding Changes in Ranking
John Mueller responded in the Reddit discussion, observing that in his opinion the mobile usability issues were unrelated to the rankings drop.
“I’ll go out on a limb and say the reason for rankings changing has nothing to do with this.
I’d read the quality raters guidelines and the content Google has on the recent updates for some thoughts, especially for medical content like that.”
This is a great example of how the most obvious reason for something happening is not always the correct reason, it’s only the most obvious.
Obvious is not the same as accurate or correct, even though it might seem like it.
When diagnosing a problem it’s important to keep an open mind about the causes and to not stop diagnosing an issue at the first more obvious explanation.
John dismissed the mobile usability issue as being serious enough to affect rankings.
His answer suggested that serious content quality issues are a likelier reason for a rankings change, especially if the change happens around the same time as an algorithm update.
The Google Raters Guidelines are a guide for assessing site quality in an objective manner, free of subjective ideas of what constitutes site quality.
So it makes sense that Mueller suggested to the Redditor that they should read the raters guidelines to see if the descriptions of what defines site quality matches those of the site in question.
Coincidentally, Google recently published new documentation for helping publishers understand what Google considers rank-worthy content.
The document is called, Creating helpful, reliable, people-first content. The documentation contains a section that’s relevant to this problem, Get to know E-A-T and the quality rater guidelines.
Google’s help page explains that their algorithm uses many factors to understand whether a webpage is expert, authoritative and trustworthy, particularly for Your Money Your Life pages such as those on medical topics.
This section of the documentation explains why the quality raters guidelines information is important:
“…our systems give even more weight to content that aligns with strong E-A-T for topics that could significantly impact the health, financial stability, or safety of people, or the welfare or well-being of society.

Mueller next discussed the search console fix validations and what they really mean.
He continued his answer:
“For indexing issues, “validate fix” helps to speed up recrawling.
For everything else, it’s more about giving you information on what’s happening, to let you know if your changes had any effect.

The person asking the question responded to Mueller by noting that the majority of the website content was written by doctors.
They next mention how they also write content that is meant to convey expertise, authoritativeness and trustworthiness.

“I’ve tried to really write blog articles & even marketing pages that have a satisfying answer above the fold, but then explain the details after.
Pretty much everything a person would do if they were legit trying to get an answer across – which is also what you read to be “EAT” best practices.
They lamented that their competitors with old content overtook them in the rankings.
Diagnosing a ranking issue is sometimes more than just navel gazing one’s own site.
It may be useful to really dig into the competitor site to understand what their strengths are that might be accounting for their increased search visibility.
It might seem like after an update that Google is “rewarding” sites that have this or that, like good mobile usability, FAQs, etc.
But that’s not really how search algorithms work.
Search algorithms, in a nutshell, try to understand three things:
The meaning of a search queries
The meaning of web pages
So it follows that any improvements to the algorithm may likely be an improvement in one or all three (probably all three).

We all use a multitude of devices to get things done in our daily routine and sharing files and notes across them could be a daunting task when switching to and fro between devices. Microsoft plans to solve this issue with its new Drop feature for the Edge browser which lets you drag and drop files and texts from your computer (Windows or Mac) so that you can access them on your phone (Android or iOS) or vice versa.
In this post, we’ll explain how you can enable the Drop option inside Microsoft Edge and use it to share files and notes across multiple devices.
What is Microsoft Edge’s Drop
Microsoft Edge Drop is a new feature that allows users to send files, notes, and links to themselves across their devices with Edge browser installed. It works by storing the files in your OneDrive account and then making them available to you in any Edge browser that is signed in with the same Microsoft account.

How to enable the Microsoft Edge Drop
The Drop feature has been in development since June 2023 but it’s only rolling out to everyone as part of Microsoft’s April 2023 update for the Edge web browser. You can access the Drop feature on the Microsoft Edge app on your desktop as well as on its phone app provided you update the apps on the respective platforms. In case you don’t have it installed on your devices, you can check out this link to download it on your devices.
You can update the Microsoft Edge app on iOS and Android by going to these App Store and Play Store links on your phone and then tapping on Update when it’s available. Once the update is installed, the Drop feature will be enabled on it automatically.

You can now start using the Drop feature to send and view files and notes inside Microsoft Edge.

How to use Microsoft Edge Drop to share files and notes on a computer
You should now see the Drop interface on the right side of the browser showing you the initial set of instructions on how to use the feature. Similar to a messaging service, you should see a text box at the bottom where you can type notes you want to access across all devices. There will also be a + icon on the left side of this text box that you can use to upload images, documents, and files from your computer.
The note should now appear inside the Drop box in a conversations-like view.
Alternatively, you can share files by dragging and dropping them onto the Drop interface.
The files and images you shared will also appear inside the Drop box on the right and will be visible on other devices.

How to use Microsoft Edge Drop to share files and notes on an iPhone or Android
To start sharing files and notes from your phone, launch the Microsoft Edge app and tap on the 3-dot icon at the bottom.
In the menu that appears on the screen, tap on Drop.
You should now see the Drop window appear on your screen with the “Welcome to Drop” message if this is the first time you’re using this feature. To continue, tap on Start at the bottom.
Similar to the interface you accessed on the PC, you should see a set of instructions on how to share files and notes with Drop. This screen will have a text box at the bottom to share notes as well as a + icon beside it to upload files from your phone.
To share notes across other devices, type your message inside the text box at the bottom and then tap on the Send icon at the bottom right corner.
The shared notes should be visible inside the Drop screen like a conversation.
To share files from your phone, tap on the + icon at the bottom left corner.
From the overflow menu that appears, select the type of content you want to share – Document, Picture, or Camera.
On the next screen, select the files you want to send and then tap on Add at the top right corner.
The selected files will now be visible inside the Drop screen and accessible across all of your eligible devices.

If you’ve shared files on Drop from one device and want to access them on another device, you can follow these steps to get it done.
When you do that, you get options to open the file on OneDrive, copy it, open it in a folder, or remove it from Drop.

How to access and download files from Edge Drop on an iPhone or Android
To view the files you shared from another device on your phone, open the Microsoft Edge app and tap on the 3-dots icon at the bottom.
In the menu that appears on the screen, tap on Drop.
In the Drop menu that shows up, you will see all the notes and files that were shared from another device appear on the left and the ones shared from this phone will appear on the right. How to Change your Background on Google Meet on Android/iOS
Google recently added a bunch of effects to the Google Meet app on iOS and Android allows users the ability to blur backgrounds, apply new ones, filters, masks, and other effects to your camera view. In order to change and apply new backgrounds during a Google Meet call, you need to meet the following requirements:
You have an iPhone 6s or newer model running iOS 12 or later
You own Google Pixel 3 or newer, Samsung Galaxy S9 and later, and other compatible devices
Before a Video Call
You can apply different backgrounds to your camera feed before joining a call on Google Meet. To do so, you need to join or enter a Google Meet call with a link or one that’s scheduled. When you do so, you’ll enter the meeting’s waiting screen. Here, make sure your camera is enabled by tapping on the Camera icon on the left side of the Microphone icon and the ‘Join’ button.
When the camera is enabled, tap on the Effects button (the one marked with three stars) inside the camera preview at the top.
This will load up the ‘Effects’ screen with five options: ‘No effects,’ ‘Blur,’ ‘Backgrounds,’ ‘Styles,’ and ‘Filters’. Here, you can apply blur effects, different backgrounds, filters, and styles to your camera to make your video calls more fun.
To apply a background, tap on the ‘Backgrounds’ tab at the bottom.
When you select ‘Backgrounds’, you should get a handful of custom images to apply as your video background including beach, library, office, mountains, sky, art, confetti, home, and more.
Select the background you wish to apply as your background by simply tapping on it and then tap on ‘Done’ at the bottom right corner of the screen to confirm your selection.
You will now be taken back to the waiting screen and you should be able to see the newly set background in the camera preview at the top.
From here, you can enter the meeting with others by tapping on the ‘Join’ button and everyone in the call will now be able to see you in front of your selected background.
During a Video Call
If you hadn’t applied a custom background before entering a video call, you can still apply one after you join it. For this, join or create a meeting with someone using your personal Gmail account and make sure that your camera is enabled.
When inside the meeting screen, tap on the Effects button (the one marked with three stars) inside the bottom right of your own camera preview.
You’ll now be taken to the ‘Effects’ screen. Here, you’ll see five options: ‘No effects,’ ‘Blur,’ ‘Backgrounds,’ ‘Styles,’ and ‘Filters.’
Since you’re here to apply a new custom background, tap on the ‘Backgrounds’ tab at the bottom.
Inside ‘Backgrounds’, you’ll see a bunch of options presented to you including beach, library, office, mountains, sky, art, confetti, home, and more.
Here, select the background you wish to apply behind you by tapping on it and then tap on the ‘X’ icon at the bottom to close the ‘Effects’ overlay.
When you do that, you’ll return to the main meeting screen with the newly applied background that others can view behind you. You can also view the effect inside your thumbnail on the meeting screen.
